What is a project management ?!
As for wider range of project as an experienced person of quality and shape control in around KRW200 billion sized project and of implementing projects for tens of years, a project is a result succeeded in human world. All human behaviors such as falling in love, marriage, stock investment, winning in Presidential Election, studying, and war can be called as projects.
I define a project as pro+ject, that is a pro cast his mind and body. Amateur can never do project. If an amateur implements a project, it will lead to a failure. Therefore, a project manager has to become a professional.
A professional put much importance on the result of own implementing project. It’s because if the result is perfect, its process is also absolutely perfect. An amateur put an importance on the process. Therefore, when an amateur implements a project, it never succeeds. Now we have to call the failed project as an amateur project, that is amaject.
Failure is not a stepping stone to success. Or failure is not mother of success.
Just, failure is the result of an amateur.
In general, when we select a very similar human behavior to a project which its client exists, that would be a raising kids. It’s because raising kids is the most difficult thing in the world. Also, the project is as difficult as raising kids.
If a project manager implements such difficult and hard project perfectly, he/she must:
- Have O blood type. Other people having other blood types should be those who participate
to the project but should not become project manager.
- Have an ability of a prophet who can see the future. Then, he/she can prevent the possible
risks in advance and finish project with ease.
- Understand the culture of client quickly. Successful project can be made only if the culture
of client is in project results.
- Have an insight to look at the whole things of project as mountain climber reviews the whole
things of mountain when climbing Mt. Everest.
- Have a skill to attract the minds of employees in the client company. The method is simple.
He/she only to give his/her sincere mind to them.
- Have a sales mind. Then, he/she can incur continuous sales to his/her company.
- Meditate for 30 minutes a day. Meditation is recognizing oneself by stopping to think.
Normally people think ten thousands of thoughts a day. These can be called random
thoughts. After removing random thoughts with meditation, the ideas from oneself would
have a great power.
Project is not a business which takes orders by submitting a proposal based on the request of the client but all behaviors which have been succeeded by implementation of a professional. If you can learn by heart above items, you can become a professional, complete even difficult project which the client exists excellently, and live a beautiful life not with a thought dividing split and difference but with heart which is a source of integration, the same, and one by becoming a true creator.
